About PiPi

PiPi is the first derivative IPA NFT collection on Story Protocol. It was minted for free in an instant on February 18, 2025, through the PFP3 platform. Inspired by Story’s mascot, Ippy, PiPi is officially recognized as a derivative NFT collection.

During the testnet phase, PiPi was generated 150,000 times, earning recognition from both the Story community and core team.

Smart Contract

PiPi’s smart contract has been included in Story Protocol’s official documentation to assist other developers in launching their own derivative NFT collections.

When PiPi is linked as a derivative of Ippy, it automatically inherits the same licensing conditions (NCSR) and is tied to Ippy’s on-chain lineage, which can be directly explored in the Story IPA explorer.

Burning & Sweeping

Every project that utilizes PFP3's launchpad services is required to purchase and burn a certain number of PiPi. Additionally, for each collection launch, PFP3 receives a share of the sales and allocates a portion of the proceeds to buy PiPi from the marketplace, replenishing the treasury and funding future initiatives.

  • There are 12 ultra-rare 1/1 PiPi NFTs, each valued at 50 standard PiPi.

  • 1/1 holders will receive the highest-tier benefits in future ecosystem updates.

Future Plans

PiPi can be seen as the community token of the PFP3 ecosystem. We are fully committed to increasing its value and utility over time. Currently, discussions are underway for visual upgrades and the transition to PiPi v2 with new artwork and enhanced aesthetics.
